Over the past three years, our State of Adolescents: Healthier Together events have elevated emerging issues in adolescent health and have reached thousands of parents and youth-serving professionals across Georgia, and beyond. This year, for our State of Adolescents event, we are bringing you an important conversation with Dr. David Satcher, one of the nation’s leading authorities in public health and the 16th Surgeon General of the United States.

Led by GCAPP President and CEO, Ronald McNeill, the conversation offers significant insight and takeaways for parents, youth, and youth-serving providers on health equity and addressing adolescent health disparities including mental wellness, shifts in health risks for adolescents, sexuality education, overall adolescent well-being, parent engagement, and much more.

We would like suggestions for our next State of Adolescents discussion. What topics and emerging issues would you like to see explored more? Just send us an email with ‘TOPICS’ in the subject line with your suggestions to info@gcapp.org.
